Combining wanting to be a stay at home mother and preschool Green Beans Home Daycare was created. After 2 years in business it was time to expand. Business was moved to an off site Center and Green Beans Preschool was created.

LOUISE KRISTOFFERSON
Being the oldest of seven children, Louise is no stranger to helping raise children of all ages. Louise graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in child development and spent more than a decade teaching in classrooms and managing programs at establishments, as well as serving as an integral component in the development of a kindergarten readiness curriculum that was subsequently implemented in Head Start programs around the country. “Childcare is my passion; I love getting down and playing with the kids and doing activities. It’s satisfying to watch them learn new things,” she shared.
After her son Henry was born, Louise sought a way to continue her passion of working with children while remaining a stay-at-home mom. As a single parent, she believed starting a school out of her home was a natural step. She was able to be with her son full time, while utilizing her skill set and knowledge to give other parents in her neighborhood a preschool option that consists of more hands on, healthy, holistic practices.
